4/26/10

Yesterday wasn't really worth it's own blog post so I decided to combine today and yesterday. Basically I slept in quite late and eventually worked on my business theory presentation. We had a group meeting at Cristina's, our Spanish partner, apartment. We combined all of our slides into one presentation and discussed what we were each saying so we had some coordination. We got off topic a few times mainly we needed an example for something and Cristina said hair dye which eventually turned into me revealing my theory of our professor using A Touch of Gray on his hair. He is probably in his thirties but has some gray hair in the front but I swear he does it himself. I think his hair color looks different on some days but anyway Cristina was laughing after I explained the concept of the American product, A Touch of Gray. I am glad that the presentation is tomorrow! This is the one thing that I really want out of the way.

Today I had economic history which the prof was five minutes late for as per usual. He is definitely a traditional Spanish man. It doesn't seem that he has much left to lecture on so I am anticipating a few more canceled classes next week. I don't think this final will be that bad. It is all history which is just memorization of facts.

I went for a run after class and it was super nice out again! It was nice running in the bright sunshine. I ran for awhile and then laid down in the park to catch some rays. I came back showered and did a decent amount of work. I am studying for my business theory final and I finished my part of the presentation. Just need to practice now! I went to the grocery store as well. There is a pot luck tonight and I bought ingredients for baked ziti. I made it for my host family in Costa Rica as well so I thought it should get an appearance in Spain as well. I have been studying a little more but I think I am going to do something else until the pot luck or at least switch subjects.

Hasta luego!
